ok, here's the first part of the essay I was working on
Towards a Larger Definition of the Integral - An Aurobindonian vision and a critique of the Wilberian paradigm
http://www.integralworld.net/kazlev1.html
The whole thing is 72 pages on my wordprocessor, which is much too long to publish as a single document
I hope to get some good constructive criticism, so I can improve this essay, correct errors, etc
Don't read this essay if you are an uncritical fan of Wilber; following his recent blog posts I think much more poorly of him than I used to!

Congratulations, Alan. How are you supposed to print that thing out?
hi Goethean!
Didn't know you were on Zaadz too! Seems like all the best people are here!
hmm, if when printing, if you get the brown margin bar on the left (and i dunno if you do, I've never tried printing anything from Integral World) it might be an idea to ask Frank about setting up a special “print this essay” page.
Failing that, I can send you the complete essay in Open Office or in Word document format
My first reaction: I'm so glad you wrote that, which, I know, doesn't count for constructive criticism.
Physicalism – The Wilberian paradigm is actually a form of holistic physicalism; his “post-metaphysics” is actually a denial of supraphysical realities. Rather than being a higher development in the evolution of insight into reality, it is rather a compromise with materialism.
I'm so glad you bring this up.
Positive feedback is good too! :-)
Jecklin thanks for your comment!
