Comments on the latest Middle East crisis

Posted on Jul 31st, 2006 by M. Alan : Aspiring Integral Yogi M. Alan

Following C4Chaos' suggestion of separating the two blogs, I've decided to use my other blog for comemnts on integral stuff, this one for everything else.

Concerning the current situation in Lebanon, here are some very insightful comments by Ray Harris that are enlightening, if depressing, reading

And as for Iraq
http://integral-options.blogspot.com/2006/07/iraq-debacle-nears-total-chaos.html

The west just seems incompetent and unable to deal with Islamic extremists.  In WW II the Allies had Churchill.  Where is a statesman who can handle this situation?

ok, i should incluide some inspiring news as well  (I found this at Integral Options too):

Lebanese and Israeli Bloggers Empathize Online - This was the "first time that residents of ‘enemy' countries engaged in an ongoing conversation while missiles were falling." Ignoring their political differences, they benefit from the human, not to say intimate, aspect of blogs to engage in a conversation. http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/content/view/927/35/
